Director, Nephrology
Prof David Power is the Director of Nephrology at Austin Health. He is also a Professorial Associate with the University of Melbourne. David graduated MB BS from the University of Western Australia and holds both MD (Aberdeen) and PhD (Melbourne) degrees, as well as a Fellowship and Membership with the College of Physicians of Australasia and Edinburgh in Scotland, respectively.
He has expertise in many areas of renal medicine, and especially in the regulation of energy metabolism in the kidney and the way that this influences its response to disease.
