Christian Osadnik is an IBAS Fellow who completed his major PhD study at Austin Health during 2010-2012 as an IBAS Student. He is a physiotherapist with a strong interest in the management of individuals with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Christian is a Senior Lecturer within the Department of Physiotherapy at Monash University and a Research Fellow with Monash Lung and Sleep based at Monash Health, Clayton. He completed a European Respiratory Society Long-Term Post-doctoral Research Fellowship, based in Leuven, Belgium (2014-15) and is the current recipient of the Lung Foundation Australia / Boehringer Ingelheim COPD Research Fellowship recipient for 2016-18.
Christian is an editor with Cochrane Airways and member of Cochrane Airways Australia. He has previously held committee roles within the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) including being a member of the Scientific Committee and former convenor of the Physiotherapy Special Interest Group.
