IBAS is involved in the new Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) on Alertness, Safety and Productivity. Announced by the Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, on Saturday, the CRC will bring together researchers, industry, government and the community to tackle the important issue of how sleep and alertness affects safety and productivity at workplaces around Australia. IBAS' Dr Mark Howard joins 25 organisations, including Austin Health, Monash University and the Sleep Health Foundation involved in the centre.
